The Street Theater was created out of the desire of ambitious and young people to contribute to the development of culture in Serbia by organizing performances and other artistic activities. The official entry of the Theater in the state register was made on September 10, 2018, and since then the number of members has risen from 10 to 33. We are proud that each member in the Theater has his duties and activities, if not acting then off stage and on in this way each member contributes to the Theater to the maximum.
The system that has been created brings the relatively young Theater the progress of ten awards at festivals, two of which are: Award for the best play, ie. The winner of the festival. Theater Ulica has evening performances in its repertoire: Let me tell you, How are you there somewhere in the center of the world where we are no more, The story of her and him, Horns in a bag, I will survive? and the children's play Three Golden Hairs.
The first play - Let me tell you, is the reason for the gathering of the founders of the Street Theater, which resulted in the founding of the Theater itself. Also, it is a play that won the award for the best play at the Kulturica festival.
The play I'll Survive? won five awards at the 60th BAP festival, including the one for the best performance of the festival. Also, in 2020, the Theater recorded the series How are you ?, based on the play of the same name, which it broadcasts on its YouTube channel.
